The tour will celebrates 25 years of JAGGED LITTLE PILL. Morissette is embarking on a 31-date North American tour starting June 2nd, 2020 in Portland, OR. In a nod to her versatility, over the years Morissette has toured with Tori Amos, Barenaked Ladies and Matchbox 20 - and even opened for the Rolling Stones. When I approached Tickemaster, they said twice and automated response of "Sorry your event has passed, there is nothing we can do." Well aware my event passed, as I was explaining my experience with them.Īs a musician, Alanis Morissette isn't easy to pigeonhole, since her albums encompass rock, pop, folk and all points in between. I feel robbed of $120 and the experience i thought we paid extra for. We then had to get security to move them, where they jumped right behind us and started cussing us out and talking absolutely as loud as possible during Alanis to make us miserable. When we approached them they said "Oh, everyone's just sitting wherever since Lawn is closed." NO WE PAID FOR THESE, 4x as much as you. We got up during intermission to go to the bathroom, only to return to a huge group of girls sitting in our seats again. The entire time the guy keeps talking loudly "I can't believe we paid $25 for these seats" while nudging my arm. So we sat next to them until Garbage was done. We arrive right when Garbage started to people sitting in our seats refusing to move after asking multiple times.
These people also had no regard for actually sitting in the seat listed on the ticket. So now everyone that had Lawn and paid $25/ticket was being given seats in the section I paid $90/ticket for. When we arrived they closed the Lawn seating, as it appeared the concert may have undersold their expectations. my complaint is with Live Nation/Ticketmaster. North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vistaįirst off Alanis blew me away! Amazing stage presence and the power of her voice is absolutely astonishing. Alanis crushed it! Live Nation/Ticketmaster not so much.
